Opened in 1964, Vincenzo's is a family owned and operated supermarket.

Vincenzo Masellis was born in Bitritto Bari, Puglia, Italy. He worked as a vendor, going from town to town selling nuts. In the search for a better life, he moved to Canada in 1951 to work on the farms and railroads. 

In 1958, Vincenzo and his brothers opened Masellis Supermarket, Vincenzo and his wife later going off on their own to open 

Vincenzo's Supermarket, a local business on the Danforth which has stayed in the family ever since.
